INPUT AND OUTPUT DEVICE

input is any data and instructions entered into the memory of a computer. An input device is any hardware component that allows users to enter data and instruction into a computer. Example of the input device are touch screen, touch pad, light pen, mouse, joystick, stylus, digital pen and the others. other type of input device are input voice, audio input and video input. Voice input is the process of entering input by speaking into a microphone. Voice input is part of larger category of input called audio input. Audio input is the process of entering any sound into the computer such as speech, music, and sound effects. Video input is the processof capturing full motion images and storing them on a computer's storage medium such as hard disk or DVD.
Output is dat that has been processed into a useful form. that is, computers process data (input) into information (output). User view or watch output on a screen, print it, or hear it through speakers, headphone, or earphones. an output device include display devices, printers, speakers, headphones, and earphones, fax machines and fax modems, multifunction perpherals and data projector. A display device is an output device that visually conveys text, graphic and video information.
